The 18th Milal Thanksgiving Day Dinner

(The World’s First Blind President Lee Jae-Seo is invited)                

Though he encountered difficulty in the beginning due to his blindness, he became a university professor and even secured his position as university president, proving God is a God of reversals. The greater the burden of hardship, the greater the gift of grace.
15-year-old Lee Jae Seo, blind and stricken with abject poverty, was not only living in darkness, his future appeared full of darkness as well. Due to his difficult conditions, he could not even enroll in middle school. However through the Lord, he was able to attend a free school of the disabled in Seoul, and received much assistance through those who worked as the Lord’s helpers, eventually completing a PhD program in the United States with His grace. Founded in 1979 to spread the gospel to the disabled along with the assisting of academic studies, the Milal Missionary group is now serving the world in 70 regions across 23 countries.

Becoming the second Helen Keller, not only giving hope to the blind, but also to those who live in despair, Lee Jae Seo’s life pierces through the darkness and reminds us that our God is a God of reversals who gives us courage, hears our wishes, and comforts us. We invite you to the 18th Milal Thanksgiving Day Dinner Event.
