새해에도 큰 큰심 없는 평범한 일상의 기적을 누리시길 기도합니다.
지난 한 해 동안 장애인 선교 후원금을 보내주셔서 밀알선교단이 큰 빚 없이 사명을 감당할 수 있었습니다. 어려운 가운데서도 귀한 선교후원금을 보내주셔서 깊이 감사드립니다.
작은 자 하나에게 냉수 한 그릇 대접한 것도 주님께서 기억하신다고 말씀하셨는데 주님께서 귀한 사랑을 기억하실 것을 믿습니다.
작년부터 시작된 은퇴선교사님들과 홀로되신 시니어를 위한 밀알마더홈이 주님의 은혜가운데 7분이 들어오셔서 장애인들과 함께 잘 지내고 있습니다. 올해는 장애인 그룹홈을 마련하기 위해 기도하고 있습니다. 갑자기 어머니가 세상을 떠나 홀로 남게 된 장애인 케니를 보면서 더 필요성을 느낍니다. 시 한 편을 선물로 드립니다. 다시 한번 귀한 후원에 감사드립니다.
눈물을 주소서
새해에는 세상 모든 것을 가질 수 있는 황금보다
나의 작은 것 나눌 수 있는 눈물을 주소서
너무 유명해져 바쁘게 살기보다
무명이라도 넘어진 이웃을 보고 멈출 수 있는 눈물을 주소서
내 눈물로는 할 수 없고
주께서 주신 눈물로만 할 수 있으니 눈물을 주소서

I pray that in the new year you will continue to experience the quiet miracles found in ordinary, peaceful days.
Thank you for sending your mission support offerings for ministry to people with disabilities over the past year. Because of your generosity, Milal Mission was able to carry out its calling without falling into heavy debt. We are deeply grateful for your precious support, especially in such challenging times.
The Lord said that even giving a cup of cold water to one of the least will be remembered, and I believe He will surely remember the love you have shown.
Since last year, the Milal Mother Home—created for retired missionaries and seniors who are now alone—has welcomed seven residents by God’s grace, and they are living well together with people with disabilities. This year, we are praying to establish a group home for people with disabilities. Seeing Kenny, who suddenly lost his mother and was left alone, has made us feel the need even more deeply.
I offer you a poem as a small gift. Once again, thank you sincerely for your precious support.
Give Me Tears
In the new year, more than gold that could grant me all the world,
give me tears that allow me to share even the little I have.
Rather than becoming famous and living a hurried life,
give me tears that let me stop for a fallen neighbor,
even if I remain unknown.
With my own tears I cannot do it;
only with the tears the Lord gives can it be done—
so give me tears.
